Minister activities:
- Chairing, yesterday in Algiers, the work of the 28th General Assembly of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies, Minister of Communication, spokesman of the government, and Acting Minister of Culture Mr. Hassane Rabehi stated, among other issues, that Algeria has always been committed to the principles of real democracy and that it will spare no effort to support the action of the press agencies, commenting on the important role of the media in shaping public opinion and inviting them to provide credible information. The Minister also pointed out that all state institutions are available to the ANIE for the success of the presidential deadline, reported El-Moudjahid (P.01-04) and Horizons (P.01-03)
-The two newspapers also retraced the statements made by APS’s Director General Fakhreddine Beldi who called for “a change in the information mode to deal with “infobésité”, as well as those of the Secretary-General of the Alliance, Georges Penintaex, who called on news agencies and authorities to unify their efforts in order to protect the citizens of these countries.
- Horizons (P.01) returns in its editorial on the speech made yesterday by the Minister of Communication, spokesman of the government, and Acting Minister of Culture Mr. Hassane Rabehi highlighting the positive role that news agencies can play in a world where information has become a double-edged sword.
