"Algeria is going through a crucial period requiring everyone to make more efforts to preserve the country and mobilize all means for the supreme interest of the nation," he said.
The Communication Minister said he was convinced that "the APS agency is able to achieve the expected objectives, especially in light of the technological development," adding that dialogue "is the best way to solve the problems, through the exchange of views, ideas and mutual listening."
In another context, the minister recalled that "the Government makes huge efforts and relentlessly works to meet the aspirations of the citizens, by launching important projects in various fields." The new APS manager Beldi said he will spare no effort in assuming such a responsibility, especially "in such difficult times," to take up the challenges facing APS in particular and other media in general with a view to providing "a quality public service."
For his part, former Director General of the APS agency, Abdelhamid Kacha evoked the role assigned to the Agency and its importance in the media landscape. Head of State Abdelkader Bensalah had appointed, Wednesday Fakhredine Beldi as Director General of APS, replacing Abdelhamid Kacha. Beldi previously held the position of News Director at APS agency.
