Premier Ahmed Ouyahia on Monday has begun the presentation of the Government's action plan in front senators of the Council of the Nation with the objective of realizing the program of the President of the Republic, Mr, Abdelazziz Bouteflika, focused on the pursuit of national social development polics.
In his alluction Mr, Ahmed Ouyahia addressed various issues, whose experience of national reconciliation “an initiative initiated by the President of the Republic and voted by the Algerian people and which does not suffer from any dispute, he affirmed.
Another point addressed, the next local elections in which the rate has ensured “will inevitably be higher than that of the legislative” under the determination of the state to ensure transparency ».
In the economic chapter, the Prime Minister stressed that the use of non-conventional financing is an "imperative" and not an "option" to revive the national economy and maintain the pace of development of the country.
For Communication sector, the Prime Minister announced the installation before the end of the year of the Print Media Regulatory Authority ( A.R.P.E ) ensuring that the presentation of the action plan contains the Government's commitment for the improvement of the media situation in Algeria and access to information. Mr, Ahmed Ouyahia indicated that a law will be promulgated next year allowing access to « more consistent, media including information and documents in accordance with the revision of the Constitution, in addition to the State's efforts for the media in training through the different institutes.
Premier affirmed, moreover, the commitment of the State to reactivate the aid fund to the media, funded by the public Treasury to revitalize it next year by reviewing its framework.
This presentation took place in plenary session under the chairmanship Mr. Abdelkader BENSALAH, President of the Council of the Nation, followed by a general debate which will continued until Tuesday. Wednesday will be devoted to the intervention of the Prime Minister who will answered questions from members of the Council of the Nation.
