- In a press communiqué sent yesterday to the APS, the Press and Communication Direction at the Presidency of the Republic stated that "the official information made public through the Presidency’s press communiqués, published by the APS and that any information reported outside this channel is to be classified as a propaganda and disinformation and exposes its author to the penalties provided by the laws of the Republic…”. The Presidency has announced, in this regard, the forthcoming accreditation of journalists, in all media, for the coverage of presidential activities, without any excluding” said El-Moudjahid (P.03) and Horizons (P.03), as well as some titles including L'Expression (P.24), Le Soir d'Algérie (P.04), and Le Quotidien d’Oran (P.02).

- Following the death of the Lieutenant-general, Ahmed Gaïd Salah, the Director General of the Algerian Radio, Mr. Djamel Senhadri, as well as the Director of the Audiovisual Regulatory Authority, expressed their sadness and that of all the staff they represent, presenting their most sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and to all members of the People’s National Army, publishes El-Moudjahid (P.06-08).

- According to El-Moudjahid (P.09), the Direction of Communication, Information and Orientation of the People’s National Army Staff published yesterday on the official website of the Ministry of National Defence, a synthesis of the speeches and messages of the late Moudjahid, Lieutenant-general Ahmed Gaïd-Salah, since the beginning of Hirak on 22 February.

- Horizons (P.05) refers to the special program devoted by both private and state television channels, , to the broadcasting of the testimonies of relatives and companions of the Lieutenant-general, Ahmed Gaïd Salah since the announcement of his death, allowing them to express their pain and gratitude to the deceased.

- Following the death of Lieutenant-general Ahmed Gaïd Salah, the Minister of Communication, Spokesman of the Government and Acting Minister of Culture Mr. Hassane Rabehi expressed, in a message of condolences on his personal behalf and on behalf of the journalistic and cultural corporations,  his most saddened feelings, affirming that Algeria has lost «a valiant patriot whose noble positions will remain engraved in history» report Horizons (P.03), El-Moudjahid (05), Le Temps d’Algérie (P.03), and Ouest Tribune (P.05).

- Under the heading «Who wants to harm Hassane Rabehi?» L'Expression (P.24) highlights the “sudden and strange” campaign launched by some electronic sites against the person of the Minister of Communication, Spokesman of the Government and Acting Minister of Culture Mr. Hassane Rabehi, suggesting that “he would have been the instrument of an internal war between rival clans about the one who will become President”, whereas, according to the same newspaper «he is a diplomat and not a politician to engage in maneuvers». In the same context, Le Jeune Indépendant (P.24) published more details by giving the name of the electronic site: Algérie Patriotique, source of this «fake News».

- Horizons (P.07) noted the impressive use of communication's means and social media following the announcement of the death of Lieutnant-general Ahmed Gaïd Salah, noting that most of the reactions were compassionate.

- As part of the celebration of the 63rd anniversary of the creation of the secret Algerian Radio, a demonstration "Historical halts of the Revolution Voice" opened last Saturday at the Moudjahid Museum of Tissemsilt. This four-day event gave rise to several activities, including a contest for the best historical research on the personality of the late journalist Aissa Messaoudi, reports El-Moudjahid (P.24).
