Communication Minister reaffirmed the need for the Algerian radio and TV to “multiply” and “diversify” expression spaces for politicians

Communication Minister, Government Spokesperson on Wednesday reaffirmed the need for the Algerian radio and TV to “multiply” and “diversify” expression spaces for politicians “in accordance” with their specifications.

During a ceremony organized at the Communication Ministry in honour of the Algerian winners at the Arab Radio and Television Festival, held recently in Tunis, Rabehi underlined “the need for the Algerian TV and radios to multiply and diversify spaces intended for politicians in accordance with their specifications.”  

“This public service must be provided in full compliance with the rules of ethics and legislation, notably the rules mentioned in the law on broadcasting activity,” stressed Rabehi.

According to the minister, “all the media operating in the country are required to comply with these rules.”
